True Redux Review: The Bugs Bunny Crazy Castle

Today we go back to July of 1989, when The Bugs Bunny Crazy Castle was released for the NES. I used to love this game when I was younger, and played it for hours. I was two years old when this first came out, so it's logical to say that I probably played this at least a year or two after its release. I was a huge Bugs Bunny fan as a child, and I'm still repulsed by most of the 'cartoons' that have seemingly replaced the Looney Toons gang as the big children's shows. Nonetheless, that discussion is better left for another time and another blog.

True Redux Review: Kingdom Crusade


I decided to give Kingdom Crusade, for Gameboy, a chance to impress me, and I'm glad I did. As the image above suggests, the game had a release in North America in 1992. This makes the game, as I write this review, about 18 years old.

In honour of Alien vs Predator recently being released for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC, I've decided to take a walk in the past. More specifically, September, 1993. It was in that month, of that year, that Alien vs Predator was released in North America for the SNES.

True Redux Review: Super Mario World


The first game I decided to review is Super Mario World. Of course, this was an obvious choice, as it is hailed as one of the greatest SNES games ever, and uh... it came with the console. Mario has become a household name quite quickly throughout most of the world, and is arguably the most popular and most recognizable video game character ever.
